The Classic Partners LLP
SPICe+ Part A – Name Reservation
SPICe+ Part A is the name-reservation step for a new company on the MCA portal. We check name availability against the naming guidelines and reserve your company name as the first step towards incorporation.
Reserve Your NameWhat is SPICe+ Part A?
SPICe+ is the MCA's integrated form for incorporating a company. It has two parts: Part A reserves the company name, and Part B completes incorporation, including DIN, PAN, TAN, and other registrations. Part A can be filed on its own to reserve a name, or together with Part B.
Reserving a name is the starting point of our incorporation services. For an existing company changing its name, the RUN service is used instead.
How Name Reservation Works
You propose a name along with the company's main activity, and the system and the Registrar check it against existing company and LLP names and against registered trademarks. If a name is queried, it can be resubmitted with changes.
Once approved, the name is reserved for a set period within which the company must be incorporated.
Who Needs Name Reservation?

- Promoters securing a brand name for a new entity.
- Businesses planning to set up a new company.
