SPICe+ Part A — Reserve Name

SPICe+ Part A is where every new company registration begins — reserving a compliant, available name before the incorporation documents are prepared.

Quick answer

SPICe+ Part A lets you propose up to two names for a new company in a single application, which the ROC checks against existing company names, LLPs and trademarks. Once a name is approved, it's reserved for a limited period, giving you a window to complete SPICe+ Part B — the actual incorporation filing with MOA, AOA, PAN, TAN and other registrations — before the reservation lapses.

Why choose us

Why getting Part A right matters

What sets our approach apart.

It sets the incorporation clock running

The reservation period for the approved name is limited, so Part B documentation should be ready to file soon after approval.

Rejected names cost a resubmission cycle

A name too similar to an existing company, or one using restricted words, gets flagged — we screen for this before submission.

Part A and Part B can also be filed together

If you're confident in a single name, SPICe+ allows combining both parts into one filing to save time — we advise when this is appropriate.
