Who we serve

One practice for every taxpayer category

Income tax looks different for a salaried employee, an F&O trader, an LLP and a charitable trust — but the standard is the same: the right form, the right computation, filed on time, with the paperwork to defend it.

Our income tax practice is structured by taxpayer type, so your work is handled by people who deal with your exact category every single week, not by a generic filing queue.

  • Salaried employees and pensioners
  • Investors and property owners with capital gains
  • NRIs, RNORs and globally mobile employees
  • Freelancers, professionals and traders
  • Partnership firms, LLPs and companies
  • Trusts, NGOs and institutions
  • Startups and founders

How we work

How an engagement runs

The same disciplined process, whatever your taxpayer category.

1

Understand Your Profile

Income sources, entity structure, residency and history reviewed to fix the right form and positions.

2

Plan the Position

Regime selection, deductions, timing and disclosures decided before numbers are locked.

3

Prepare & File

Computations prepared, reconciled with AIS/26AS, reviewed by a CA and filed on the portal.

4

Support Year-Round

Advance tax reminders, notices, refunds and next-year planning — the file never goes cold.

Why The Classic Partners

A tax practice, not a filing portal

The difference shows when something unusual lands on your file.

CA-led on every file

Every return and position is reviewed by a Chartered Accountant — automation assists, it never decides.

Reconciliation-first

AIS, TIS, 26AS and GST data reconciled before filing, because that is what the department's systems check first.

Deadline architecture

A managed calendar across advance tax, TDS, audits and returns — interest and late fees are avoidable costs.

Defensible positions

Every claim is taken with the documentation to support it, so a query is an inconvenience, not a crisis.

Transparent pricing

Flat, scope-based fees quoted upfront — no percentage games, no surprise add-ons.

Beyond filing

From compliance management to notice replies and GST, the whole tax function sits under one roof.

FAQs

Income tax questions answered

The questions every category of taxpayer asks us.

Broadly: ITR-1 for simple resident salaried cases up to ₹50 lakhs; ITR-2 for capital gains, multiple properties, foreign assets or NRIs; ITR-3 for business and professional income; ITR-4 for presumptive taxation; ITR-5 for firms and LLPs; ITR-6 for companies; ITR-7 for trusts and institutions. We confirm the form as the first step of every engagement.
The new regime is now the default, with an opt-out available (business income earners use Form 10-IEA). Which regime wins depends on your deductions — home loan interest, 80C, HRA and similar. We compare both on your actual numbers every year rather than assuming last year's answer still holds.
Typically PAN and Aadhaar, Form 16 or financial statements, bank statements, capital gains reports, loan and investment proofs, and portal access for AIS/26AS. We send a category-specific checklist at the start so nothing is chased at the deadline.
A belated return can be filed up to 31 December of the assessment year with a late fee u/s 234F. Beyond that, an updated return (ITR-U) is available for up to 48 months with graded additional tax. The earlier you act, the cheaper the correction.
Yes — from 143(1) intimations and e-campaign queries to scrutiny assessments, we draft replies, compile documentation and represent the matter until closure. Prevention is built into our filing process; representation covers whatever still arrives.
Yes. Document sharing, draft review, approvals and filing all happen digitally, with your data handled confidentially. In-person meetings are available when a matter genuinely needs one.
Flat, scope-based fees quoted before work begins — based on your taxpayer category and complexity, not your refund or income. Ongoing compliance engagements are quoted as annual calendars so there are no per-deadline surprises.
