Changing a company's name is a structured process: reserve the new name through RUN, get shareholders to pass a special resolution, file that resolution in Form MGT-14, apply for Central Government approval in Form INC-24, and receive a fresh certificate of incorporation once approved. The MOA and AOA are updated to reflect the new name, and downstream records — PAN, GST, bank accounts, licences — are updated separately afterward.
