Form INC-22 is how a company formally puts its registered office address on record with the ROC — whether that's confirming the address at incorporation or notifying a later change.
Form INC-22 has two common uses. If a company was incorporated without confirming its registered office at the time of filing SPICe+, it must file INC-22 within 30 days of incorporation to confirm the address. It's also filed any time the registered office changes within the same city or town under the same ROC, supported by a board resolution and proof of address such as a utility bill and NOC from the property owner. Moves across ROC jurisdictions or states involve additional approvals before INC-22 is filed.
