Auditor Appointment Services
Appointing a statutory auditor is one of the first compliance steps after incorporation, and one that has to be filed on the Registrar's timeline.
A company must appoint its first statutory auditor within 30 days of incorporation (by the board) and, thereafter, appoint or reappoint an auditor at each AGM to hold office until the conclusion of the sixth AGM, subject to ratification requirements under current rules. The appointment is reported to the Registrar in Form ADT-1 within 15 days of the AGM (or board meeting, for the first auditor).
