What is Change In The Company Name?
A company, once incorporated, may decide to change its name due to rebranding, diversification of business, or alignment with new goals. Under the Companies Act, 2013, a company can change its name by following prescribed procedures and approvals from the ROC, MCA, and sometimes the Central Government.
The company name is its legal identity, and any change must be duly updated across all registrations and statutory records.

Pass a resolution proposing the name change.
Authorize a Director/CS to check name availability with MCA.
